Brandermill Woman's Club is comprised of woman from Brandermill and surrounding communities.  The club objectives are

  • to encourage friendships, social activities and solidarity in the community
  • to promote a common interest in civic, cultural, educational and social welfare in the community

We offer lots of fun and education activities, including book clubs, antiques clubs, card clubs and of course our community involvement.  Consider attending a meeting to get to know us and what we do.

Welcome to Brandermill Woman's Club

Our  October meeting features Richmond author Mary Miley Theobald.

Mary is the winner of the 2012 Minotaur Books/Mystery Writers of America First Crime Novel Competition with "The Impersonator." This was the first of the books comprising her Roaring Twenties mystery series, including "Silent Murders" which came out last fall.

She will talk about this series, but has many other literary accomplishments under her belt. She has written eleven non-fiction books, almost 200 magazine articles and four podcasts. Her book written for Colonial Williamsburg, "Rivers and Roads" will be out in October.  Having taught history at VCU, Mary considers herself an historian and has published extensively in that area. Be sure to join us on October 21 for this fascinating program
